we shared the special ride.
Since we took our leap
closely side by side.

we heard the mountain cries.
Or I saw the setting sun
in the depths of your eyes.
Oh, too much time has passed
since we danced among the stars
or played hide and go seek
behind Saturn, Venus or Mars.
Been so long since we tenderly
dove out in the pillowy snow
making snow angels in the yard
where in spring roses grow.
How long has it been
since we stared up in the sky
counting the moon beams
like single lovers, you and I.
Do you remember the drive
we took right off the hill top.
The trees seemed to wave
as we sailed up without stop.
Then turned to take a look
at the world we left behind.
That bottleneck of humanity
seeming to have lost their mind.
Each time I take a look
in the depths of your eyes
I am reminded there is forever
within the way you hypnotize.
Seems we took our stroll
within but away from the world
We found a magic in sharing
As we jumped, danced and whirled.
Been too long since we
stepped outside that box
Creating our own habitat
From our private stocks.

lets go run against the winds.
